simple & delicious.

We tried this for the 1st time last night & both loved it.
Thanks to my dad for sharing the recipe with me.

Italian Tortellini Soup
1 lb. ground Italian sausage
1 can of stewed Italian tomatoes
1 can of beef broth
2 cups of water
1/2 head of chopped cabbage
8 oz. package of refrigerated three-cheese tortellini

Brown sausage in a skillet.
Combine tomatoes, broth, water, and cabbage in a large soup pot.
Add in cooked sausage.
Simmer until cabbage is tender.
During the last 15-20 mintues of cooking, add the tortellini.
Ladle into bowls and top with fresh Parmesan cheese.

It makes for a simple & delicious meal!
